These staging Terms of Service (Terms) describe the rules for using Coachwatch, a test-stage Overwatch coaching marketplace operated by The Other Projects LLC from Top of the Hill, Tago, Khulo, Georgia.
By creating or continuing an account, or by starting a checkout, you ask us to provide the relevant staging services under these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Coachwatch. Contact support@coachwatch.gg with questions.
1. Staging status and no real-money launch
Coachwatch is currently a staging and evaluation environment. Features may be incomplete, reset, unavailable, or changed without notice. Test listings, balances, orders, payouts, refunds, tax calculations, messages, and provider events may be simulated and must not be treated as real financial or legal records.
Stripe and Stripe Connect must remain in test or sandbox mode during this staging phase. No one may use the staging service to send, receive, settle, or represent real-money payments. Availability in staging does not mean Coachwatch is approved, licensed, or ready for a public or real-money launch.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be allowed to use Coachwatch under the laws that apply to you, and you must provide accurate account information and keep linked accounts under your control. Checkout and paid features may apply additional eligibility checks, including age or country restrictions, at the time of purchase.
Coachwatch uses Discord as its primary sign-in and delivery identity and may allow other OAuth connections. You are responsible for protecting access to your Discord and linked provider accounts and for promptly reporting suspected compromise.
- Do not impersonate another person or misstate your age, authority, rank, coaching experience, or account ownership.
- One person may not use another person’s account to evade restrictions or enforcement.
- We may suspend staging access when information cannot be verified or use creates security, legal, financial, or community risk.
3. Marketplace role
Coachwatch provides marketplace, workflow, and communication tools that help buyers find independent coaches. Coaches control the coaching services they offer, subject to platform rules. Coaches are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Coachwatch, and Coachwatch does not guarantee a particular competitive result, rank improvement, availability, or coaching outcome.
The order page, active offer version, checkout quote, and applicable consent choices form part of the agreement for an order. If offer-specific terms conflict with these Terms, these Terms control unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
4. Prices and platform fees
In the current staging design, a buyer service fee of 5% is added to the coaching subtotal after applicable discounts and before any separately shown tax. A coach platform fee of 10% is deducted from the coaching amount otherwise payable to the coach. Rounding, taxes, processor fees, discounts, and zero-total test orders may affect displayed test amounts.
All staging amounts are illustrative. Fees may change before launch, but a changed fee should be shown in the authoritative checkout quote before a buyer proceeds.
5. Stripe test payments and Connect
Checkout and coach payout onboarding use Stripe test services and Stripe Connect test accounts. Coachwatch does not collect or store full card numbers. Stripe may process test payment, identity, onboarding, fraud, dispute, and payout metadata under Stripe’s own terms and privacy notice.
A test checkout is not complete merely because the browser returns from Stripe. Server-side provider events and Coachwatch records determine staging payment and order status. Coaches must not treat a test balance, pending transfer, or dashboard status as money owed.
6. Orders and Discord delivery
Coaching is coordinated and delivered through the Coachwatch Discord workflow unless the offer clearly states another approved method. Buyers and coaches must use the private order room and platform-supported status controls so delivery, changes, and problems can be reviewed.
Buyers must provide usable replay codes, availability, goals, and other requested inputs. Coaches must respond and deliver within the offer terms or communicate a reasonable change. Scheduling statements are estimates unless mandatory law or the accepted order says otherwise.
7. Delayed release, refunds, and disputes
The staging funds-flow design may delay release of a coach’s test proceeds until delivery is confirmed, an acceptance or review window ends, or a support hold is resolved. Coachwatch may pause, reverse, or decline a test transfer when an order is cancelled, refunded, disputed, suspected of abuse, or not supported by reliable delivery evidence.
Refund requests and disputes are reviewed using the accepted offer version, authoritative quote, Discord order history, delivery status, provider records, and applicable law. Depending on those facts, a staging order may receive a full refund, partial refund, re-performance, credit, denial, or another test resolution. Mandatory consumer remedies are not limited by these Terms.
Payment chargebacks should not be used to avoid first reporting a service issue where it is safe and practical to contact support. Nothing here prevents a person from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Streaming, recording, and team bookings
A streamed offer must be clearly identified before checkout. The buyer must make the required stream acknowledgement and choose the available BattleTag, voice, clip, and recording permissions. A coach may not expand those permissions through silence, assumptions, or separate messages.
For team coaching, the purchaser must have authority to buy for the team and provide the submitted team context. The purchaser must ensure that all affected participants are informed and have given any consent required for voice, recording, clips, or public streaming. Only the purchasing account receives the order and Discord access unless Coachwatch expressly adds a different supported flow.
Existing streaming and team consent records remain separate from acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Notice.
9. Prohibited conduct
Use Coachwatch only for legitimate coaching. We may restrict listings, orders, communications, or accounts that create game-integrity, safety, fraud, payment, or legal risk.
- No rank boosting, piloting, win trading, match manipulation, cheats, exploits, or services intended to evade game rules.
- No sharing, selling, lending, or requesting login credentials for Battle.net, Overwatch, Discord, Stripe, or another person’s account.
- No moving a Coachwatch-introduced transaction off-platform to avoid platform fees, safeguards, records, holds, or dispute handling.
- No harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, doxxing, stalking, unlawful content, malware, scraping that disrupts the service, or misuse of personal data.
- No false reviews, fabricated credentials, deceptive listings, unauthorized recordings, or infringement of intellectual-property or privacy rights.
10. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights you have in the material you submit. You give Coachwatch a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, secure, transform, display, and share that material only as reasonably needed to operate, support, moderate, and test the requested service. You must have permission to submit replays, recordings, team context, names, and other content.
Coachwatch software, branding, and original platform materials belong to The Other Projects LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not grant rights to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse them except where applicable law expressly allows it.
11. Blizzard non-affiliation
Coachwatch is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Overwatch, Battle.net, Blizzard, and related names and assets are trademarks or property of their respective owners. Use of Blizzard services remains subject to Blizzard’s own rules.
12. Availability, disclaimers, and responsibility
The staging service is provided on a best-effort, as-available basis for evaluation. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, compatibility, launch readiness, provider availability, or that staging data will survive a reset.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Other Projects LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential staging losses, lost test data, lost opportunities, game outcomes, provider outages, or conduct outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
13. Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using staging at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove a listing, or cancel a test order to protect users, comply with law or provider rules, investigate abuse, or operate the staging environment. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including records, disputes, intellectual property, and governing law, continue as applicable.
We may publish a new version of these Terms. When acceptance is required, Coachwatch should present the active version and record acceptance server-side. A database version record is operational metadata and does not itself mean legal approval.
14. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject always to mandatory consumer, privacy, and procedural rights that apply in a user’s country and cannot be waived by contract. Courts or authorities with mandatory jurisdiction retain that jurisdiction.
